What Information We Collect
When you make a purchase: Your name, email address, and payment information. Payment is processed by Gumroad or Lemon Squeezy — we never see or store your credit card details.
When you use the Luminary theme: The wizard collects your business name, address, phone number, email, and business description. This information is stored only on your own WordPress server — it never passes through our systems.
When you contact support: Your name, email, and any information you choose to share.
Automatically collected: Standard web analytics — pages visited, time on site, browser type, approximate location. We do not sell this data.
Third-Party Services the Theme Uses
This is the critical section the default policy completely misses. When your clients use the Luminary theme, their business information is sent to these external services:
Anthropic (Claude AI) Business name, description, industry, and services are sent to Anthropic’s API to generate website copy. Anthropic’s privacy policy: anthropic.com/privacy
FAL.ai The AI-generated image prompt (derived from your business description) is sent to FAL.ai to generate your hero image and video. FAL.ai’s privacy policy: fal.ai/privacy
Lemon Squeezy License keys are validated through Lemon Squeezy’s API. No personal data beyond the license key is transmitted. Lemon Squeezy’s privacy policy: lemonsqueezy.com/privacy
By using the Luminary theme, your clients consent to their business information being processed by these third-party services in order to generate their website. We recommend informing their own site visitors accordingly.
How We Use Your Information
- To deliver your license key and the theme file after purchase
- To validate your license key when the theme is activated
- To respond to support requests
- To send product update notifications (you can opt out at any time)
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any third party for marketing purposes.
Embedded content from other websites
Suggested text: Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
Data Retention
Purchase records are retained for 7 years for tax and accounting purposes. Support communications are retained for 2 years. You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing info@jhpsunlimited.com — we will comply within 30 days except where retention is required by law.

Security
We use industry-standard practices to protect your information. However, no method of internet transmission is 100% secure. Your API keys entered in the Luminary theme are encrypted using AES-256 before being stored on your server and are never transmitted to us.
Children
Luminary is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to This Policy
We will post any changes to this page and update the date at the top. Continued use of Luminary after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
