Refund Policy — Luminary

Our Policy

All sales are final. Luminary licenses are non-refundable once the license key has been activated.

This policy exists because Luminary is a digital product. Once you have downloaded the theme files and activated your license key, the product has been fully delivered and cannot be returned.


Why We Have This Policy

Luminary is a software license, not a physical product. When you activate your key:

  • The theme files have been delivered to you
  • Your license has been registered in our system
  • In managed credit tiers, generation credits become available immediately
  • The product cannot be “returned” in any meaningful sense

This is standard practice for all digital software products and is consistent with the policies of Gumroad and Lemon Squeezy, through whom purchases are made.


What Is Covered

We will issue a full refund in the following specific circumstances:

Duplicate purchase — If you accidentally purchased the same tier twice within 24 hours, contact us immediately with both order confirmation emails and we will refund the duplicate.

Non-delivery — If you completed payment and did not receive your license key or download link within 24 hours, contact us. We will either deliver the product or issue a full refund.

Verified technical defect — If the theme cannot be installed on a standard WordPress installation (version 6.4 or higher, PHP 7.4 or higher) due to a defect in our code, and we are unable to resolve the issue within 7 business days of a verified bug report, we will issue a refund.


What Is Not Covered

Refunds are not issued for:

  • Changing your mind after purchase
  • The AI-generated content not meeting your expectations — generation quality varies by input and no specific outcome is guaranteed
  • Incompatibility with third-party plugins or custom themes installed alongside Luminary
  • Issues caused by your WordPress hosting environment, server configuration, or PHP settings
  • Inability to obtain or fund Anthropic or FAL.ai API accounts in your country
  • API costs incurred through your own Anthropic or FAL.ai accounts — those are billed directly by those providers and are entirely outside our control
  • Purchasing the wrong tier — if you need to upgrade, purchase the higher tier; your existing purchase stands
  • Credits consumed by successful generations
  • Requests made more than 7 days after purchase

Upgrades

Tier upgrades are not prorated or credited. If you purchased Starter and want Pro, purchase the Pro license — your Starter license remains active on its original site and your new Pro license covers up to 5 sites.

Video upgrade keys and credit packs are non-refundable under any circumstances once activated.


How to Request a Refund

If you believe your situation qualifies under the covered circumstances above:

  1. Email info@jhpsunlimited.com with subject line: Luminary Refund Request
  2. Include your order confirmation number and purchase email
  3. Describe the specific issue
  4. We will respond within 3 business days

Approved refunds are processed through the original payment method. Gumroad refunds typically appear within 5–10 business days. Lemon Squeezy refunds typically appear within 3–7 business days.


Chargebacks

We take chargebacks seriously. If you initiate a chargeback without first contacting us, your license will be immediately deactivated and you will be banned from future purchases. We maintain detailed records of all license activations and will dispute chargebacks that do not meet our refund criteria above.

If you have a legitimate issue, please contact us first — we respond quickly and will work to resolve it.
